Here is the second part of the article for today. I think Oisin will get a win but Buick will have to be lucky.

2.40 Nottingham Sweet Madness EW 11/2 Paddy Power 1/5 1-4 BOG

I honestly don’t think either of them can win the 2.40pm. Sweet Madness did an excellent job last time and is up 5lb for beating a field of 16 in a class 6. She won going away.  This filly improved for stepping up to a mile and has a great chance today at a decent price. I think this is a good EW bet.

3.15 Nottingham Silver Gunn EW 13/2 William Hill 1/5 1-3 BOG

Having just watched the market mover Silver Gunn’s last two races I’m going to be controversial and say this is the one to be on.  Last time out for whatever reason the grey colt simply did not settle and ruined his own chances.  He was pulling a bit in the race before that which he won in good fashion staying on racing on good to soft winning by a neck. His trainer has moved him up in class for this race which suggests there has been improvement at home and that he has faith in the colt’s ability. Oisin and William do have chances in this. Oisin looks the best choice of the two with Legendry Day and has leading claims if his mount comes back to form.

3.50 Nottingham

This is another race where it will be best to look elsewhere for a winner as I don’t think Buick or Murphy can land the spoils. I’m not recommending a selection in this race.

4.25 Nottingham Natural Path Natural Path 2/1 Bet365 BOG

After watching Natural Path’s last run I feel he was hampered, squeezed and bumped and still came through to win in a gritty fashion.  He could have won that last race carrying the 5lb he has been raised since if he had not had so much trouble in running.  Oisin has a great chance in this race riding this one. Raasel is a good horse and I can see the champion jockeys elect duking it out on these two at the finish. The winning distance is likely to be small but Natural Path and Murphy can triumph.

4.55 Nottingham

This awful class 6 race does not present any kind of opportunity for Oisin and William unless they get lucky. The handicapper is looks likely to have Oisin’s mount Twice Adaay by the short and curlies. Buicks mount does not look promising either and last won in July off a much lower mark once the claimer who rode that day is taken in to consideration.
